So one thing that I have a hard time figuring out is the “when and how” I tell a potential date about my blog. I don’t want to tell them too early because I think it’s a lot to process. I don’t want to wait too long because it could be construed as deceptive.
I told two potentials this week about my blog. They both went surprisingly well.

So of course, both of them went and looked for Aussie Rick on OkCupid. Curiosity killed the cat, right? Rob & James, I hope you don’t die.
Here’s the email that Rob AND James both received after they looked at Aussie Rick’s profile:
“Thanks for stalking my profile, and for some reason it seems a lot of blokes want to check me out, but I’m sorry to say that I am straight. Happy New Year to you though!”Rob’s reply: Now even your rejects think I’m gay.James’ reply: he’s hilarious, probably by accident
In other words: “Happy New Year boys-who-I-think-are-gay. I’m Australian and also, not gay. Crikey!”
Kudos to you both of you for looking Aussie Rick in the face. That takes a brave, brave man.
