I'm the CEO of Interclue and also an OkCupid user. Despite this, it had never occured to me that our (highly selective) prefetching feature would be resulting in inadvertent stalking! By default, Interclue will pre-fetch any link that you hover your mouse on for .1s - which helps speed things up without causing too much unnecessary downloading. You can turn off prefetching or change the timing to something other than .1s, but what I strongly recommend instead is simply disabling Interclue on OkCupid by clicking the status bar icon and selecting "Disable Interclue on this site". I think I'll go do that right now so I don't accidentally stalk anyone else! Prefetching is disabled for a large number of links for various reasons, and we'll add Okcupid profile links to that list now!
