I talked to the screenprinter today and have hammered out the nitty gritty details for the Date Wrecks T-Shirts. Essentially, I am going to purchase my own “screen” for screenprinting. He’s going to keep my minimum order very low so that I can keep the costs down and bring them to you at a much more affordable price.
To start, we’ll have, what I only hope will turn into a classic:
The front of the shirt will display:

And the back of the shirt will display:

What do you think? I really wanted the design of the first shirt to be VERY simple this time, mostly to keep the costs down so they can be more affordable to you guys, but really… I kind of love the simplicity and may end up keeping the designs of all the shirts just as simple.
Here’s what I’ve chosen as my first picks:

For the ladies:
District Threads Junior Ladies Perfect Weight V-Neck Tee in Grey
Extra-soft with a stylish fit, this v-neck is a wardrobe staple.
- 4.3-ounce, 100% ring spun combed cotton
- 40-singles fine knit for lived-in softness
- Rib knit v-neck
- Double-needle sleeves and hem
Juniors Sizes: S-XXL; Plus 1X, Plus 2X
Graphic will be printed in white, across the chest.
For the men:
District Threads Slub Crewneck Tee in Black
Breathe life into your basics with our new slub tee. Lightweight without being overly sheer, this tee is knit with a distinctive thick-and-thin slub yarn that has a unique look, adds subtle texture and just gets better with age. Finished with dyed-to-match coverstitching.
- 3.39-ounce, 100% slub cotton jersey
- Rib knit crewneck with coverstitching
- Double-needle sleeves and hem
Adult Sizes: XS-4XL
Graphic will be printed in white.
I’m not sold on either one of these, but these are in the running for cold-weather appropriate Wreck Wear:

I’d like to find a long sleeve women’s tshirt that has a v-neck or more of a scoop neck. I’m also not thrilled with the cut of this men’s shirt because it just looks… droopy. Right? Maybe it’s the model. Either way, we’ve got some time to find long sleeve shirts that I love more.
I certainly prefer the first male model!
Hey there good lookin’, how you doin’?
I opted not to do the whole baseball tshirt thing because I’ve gotten enough feedback from my readers that they would not want to wear a baseball tshirt. Word up, I hear you.
Hopefully these options will be more to your liking. Both the guys and girls versions come in large/plus sizes.
So… what do you think?
These will likely run $17.99 + shipping and I’m ordering them in SMALL batches — six at a time — to start with.
