So, here’s what went nutty for me this week.
First, my pirated internet got shut off. [SOB!] Well, not so much “got shut off” as the people who I’ve been stealing internet from got wise and locked their network.
It’s been really hard without internet at home, folks. I do almost all of my Date Wrecks updating at night, so… I haven’t been able to do that at all.
Then, after my internet went bye-bye, my laptop GAVE ME THE BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH! Ohh… Yes. Yes, it did. And yes, yes, I am the only person on the face of the planet that still has a PC. Fuck me.
It’s at my brother in law’s (hopefully) being repaired. Y’all… Pray and shit.
And, the biggest sort of life-interruption for me in the last week, I lost an old friend last week and his parents asked me to put together the printed program for his funeral service last night. It took a lot of my time over the weekend and first half of the week.
But, hopefully I can get back to some semblance of normal again. I’ve got a post in the queue for you guys for tomorrow and, if I can get together with PC between now and then, I want to run the HSSS that SHOULD have ran on Wednesday, on Saturday.
I’ve also got an IM/email exchange with a joker from okcupid that ends with “fat bitch!” It’s awesome. Seriously.
And I’ve got a metric ton of submissions to go through (thanks to those who sent them!)
For those of you who have purchased shirts and have been hanging out being the most patient people ever, well… Let’s dig deep and continue to be patient. I need to update the website to reflect the new shirt styles since I’ve moved the whole operation to Scrappy Screenprinting. I’m very excited about working with these cats and will be able to offer you shirts at lower prices! Yay! Hopefully, I can get all of that put together this weekend and be set for next week.
