Yea, from the legal advice I’ve gotten, any commentary is fine as long as it’s speculation or opinion and that is protected under the First Amendment. The photo manipulation falls under defamatory, so I could see where he would be threatening legal action.

Realistically, if the joker is trolling a free website looking for a lady though, how likely is it that he’ll actually be in a position to hire a lawyer to try a first amendment case? They are notoriously difficult to win, particularly when the internet is involved.

Reminds me a bit of the NineInch9 Buffalo-Bill looking joker that keeps trying to get up on my jock for posting about him here but DUDE. If you’re stupid enough to post your information ALL OVER THE INTERNET, you’re going to be made fun of — period. It just happens.

oh yeah…they did. But I understand. He was threatening lawsuits and what not and the guy would just rather delete all references to him rather than deal with it. Of course, the creeper’s pictures were being photoshopped a LOT and talk of children chained up in the basement (florida is infamous for pedophiles after all)

so that might have had something to do with it LOL

I really hope whoever owned the board you’re speaking of didn’t let some freakazoid bully them around.
